FMCSA’s coronavirus guidance

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has recently issued three separate guidance documents that apply to holders of Commercial Drivers’ Licenses and their employers:

• DOT Guidance on Compliance with DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations
• FMCSA’s CDL Waivers
• FMCSA Guidance on Drug, Alcohol Testing Disrupted by COVID-19

Constangy partners Tommy Eden and Jonathan Martin will share practical suggestions on employers can comply with the new guidance. They’ll be joined by Dr. C.B. Thuss, Jr., of Ascension Healthcare. Dr. Thuss is a Medical Review Officer and Certified Medical Examiner, and will help explain the CDL waiver guidance and possible drug testing remediation steps.
