PA: 2020 OSHA & WORKPLACE SAFETY ROUNDTABLE

Safety professionals statewide will gain access to the latest workplace safety and health training resources and guidance at the PA Chamber’s virtual half-day OSHA and Workplace Safety Roundtable.

As part of the PA Chamber’s longtime OSHA alliance, attendees will hear directly from a representative from the Harrisburg Area OSHA office as well as nationally known safety consultants and compliance specialists. Speakers will cover updates and changes to OSHA regulations, present real-world examples and best practices, and offer insight to help keep your employees safe and your company in compliance during these unprecedented times.

Program Highlights

  • OSHA Update for Business—A representative from the Harrisburg Area OSHA office shares the latest guidance on Hazardous Communication (HazComm) Compliance and offers a comprehensive update on OSHA guidelines for the business community.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including Respirators—Gain critical insight to ensure proper use, fit, maintenance and disposable of PPE, including special requirements and protocols for respirators, and learn about the elements of a successful PPE program.
  • Communicable Disease Prevention—Understand how to comply with the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, learn about protocols that should be included in your workplace exposure control plan, and use lessons learned during the COVID-19 pandemic to pro-actively reduce exposure to your workers.
  • Avoiding the Biggest Mistakes in Recordkeeping—Learn what your business needs to do to comply with OSHA guidelines for illness and injury, with emphasis on reporting, deadlines and required annual posting during the COVID-19 pandemic.
