Already a Certified HBC in 2020 and want to recertify?
Recertification is very important as both federal and individual states are issuing more specific guidelines. While the training that you participated in last year meets or exceeds these guidelines it is important to keep up with the latest information and best practices. It is clear that Infectious Disease Prevention will become a required business plan even post COVID19. To recertify, a business will need to complete the 3 hour training, review and update (if necessary) and resubmit their Infectious Disease plan. This is a great way to ensure that your plan is reviewed annually, is up to date with all the required components and audit your business practices against your plan “doing as you say you do”. It is also an opportunity to send another person from your company in order to grow your team's knowledge of infectious disease prevention. If you are the contact, you are welcome to attend again this year as there are updates throughout the curriculum.
