Brian D. Black
Brian D. Black is a 1993 graduate of the Washington & Lee University Law School, and the co-author of the Compliance Manual for Health Information Privacy. In addition to drafting retirement and welfare benefit plans and related disclosure documents, Mr. Black counsels employers on compliance issues under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Multiemployer Pension Plan Amendments Act, the Older Workers Benefits Protection Act, and several other specialized aspects of employee benefits law. He also regularly represents employers and plan fiduciaries in benefits-related litigation in federal and state courts.
