Illinois employers continue to be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with uncertainty about a potential extension and changes to Governor J. B. Pritzker’s stay-at-home order, and the interplay of new and existing employment laws. In this webinar, the speakers will address issues unique to Illinois employers and provide practical guidance for managing the workforce in these challenging times. Topics to be covered will include:
understanding new or modified requirements of the stay-at-home order;
managing continued furloughs and layoffs, and the impact on eligibility for unemployment compensation;
facilitating employees' safe return to work and the implications under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act; and
implementing or revising policies for employees who are working from home, such as data privacy protections and expense reimbursement.
