Posting requirements

The list below contains most of the generally applicable posters required under South Carolina and federal law. However, it is important to check for future updates, new posters that may be required and other posters that may be required under special circumstances. Many of the posters discussed below are available online at:

Wage and Hour

“Employee Rights Under the Fair Labor Standards Act,” WH Pub. 1088 (Revised July 2016)

  • Must be posted by:  All employers covered by the FLSA.

“Employee Rights for Workers with Disabilities Paid at Special Minimum Wages,” WHD 1284 (Rev. January 2018).

  • Must be posted by:  Employers of workers with disabilities under special minimum wage certificates authorized by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act and/or the Walsh-Healey Public Contracts Act.
