Jessica Tsuda has experience in labor and employment litigation. She enjoys litigation, especially helping clients through the process. She also likes counseling clients about their obligations under federal and state employment laws.
Ms. Tsuda has experience in defending employers against single plaintiff lawsuits as well as collective and class actions. She has also represented employers in administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") and helped employers during EEOC investigations. She has defended claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disability Act, Title VII, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
Pro bono work is very important to Ms. Tsuda. Currently, her pro bono work focuses on immigration cases.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Tsuda served as an appellate law clerk for the Honorable Richard L. Gabriel at the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Before starting her legal career, she worked for three years with Wells Fargo Bank in a management training program.
