As one of the founding attorneys of Ogletree Deakins’s Denver office, Roger G. Trim’s practice focuses exclusively on representing and counseling employers in a broad spectrum of employment matters including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, breach of contract and noncompete cases. Mr. Trim has successfully defended employers in litigation involving Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, the Family Medical and Leave Act, the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, the Colorado Wage Claim Act, the Montana Wrongful Discharge from Employment Act, and 42 U.S.C. 1981 claims. Mr. Trim has represented employers in single- and multi-plaintiff cases in both federal and state court and has extensive experience in pattern and practice and class action litigation. He has successfully represented employers in numerous administrative proceedings before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Colorado Civil Rights Division, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the National Labor Relations Board and the United States Department of Labor. Mr. Trim has significant experience with alternative dispute resolution and has represented clients in multiple employment and traditional labor arbitration proceedings.

Steve Reid counsels and represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters arising under federal and state laws. Steve graduated from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of St. Ives. During law school, he served on the Denver University Law Review and competed in the annual Wagner National Labor & Employment Law Moot Court Competition.

David Zwisler is a shareholder in the Denver office of Ogletree Deakins with a 20+ year history of representing employers in all aspects of traditional labor, safety and health, and employment compliance. David has extensive experience representing management in collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, as well as unfair labor practice and representation proceedings. David also regularly represents employers accused of violating state and federal health and safety regulations. In addition, David devotes significant time to defending employers against charges and claims filed in various state and federal agencies and courts. David is a trusted senior leader, legal advisor, and strategist with a proven history of navigating the complexities of compliance and developing practical solutions.

Abbey Wallach represents employers of all sizes on all matters impacting their employees under federal and state law, including compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), as well as breach of restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation. Abbey conducts investigations; handles charges of discrimination, harassment and retaliation; and defends any ensuing litigation in state and federal court. In addition, she advises employers to prevent litigation by drafting policies compliant with state and federal law and addressing day-to-day employee issues. Abbey also has experience conducting Title IX and employment law investigations for universities.
